The Story
How I got here
When I started my first business, I did what everyone does. Filed the paperwork. Used the templates. Checked the boxes and kept moving. I was building something real, and I was focused on the work — not on the foundation underneath it.
At some point that changed. I started asking a question I hadn't thought to ask before: what did I actually agree to? Not in any extreme sense — just honestly. What does it mean to be a registered commercial entity? What are the terms of these contracts, and who benefits from the language they're written in? What am I participating in, and did I choose it — or was it simply the default?
"The default path wasn't designed for you. It was designed for the benefit of the systems you were entering."
The answers reshaped how I saw my own business. I had made agreements I didn't understand. I had built on a foundation that — without my knowledge or deliberate consent — made me a participant in systems I wouldn't have chosen. Not because I did anything wrong. Because no one taught me the alternative existed.
I pursued formal training through a rigorous private education program and spent real time restructuring my own affairs — my business structure, my agreements, my operational foundation. The clarity that came from that work is difficult to describe until you've experienced it yourself. It's the difference between a business you run and a business you own.
I don't just teach this — I live it. I am the founder of Fyreside Club, a members-only club for private agreement recreational land use. Fyreside is itself built on the same private frameworks I coach: membership by private agreement, no public commercial structure, no institutional intermediaries. It is proof of concept — a real, operating business built entirely in the private.
The Privatepreneur exists to make that knowledge available to any founder who is ready for it. Not through ideology. Not through fear. Through direct, practical, 1-on-1 coaching tailored to your specific business and situation.
I work with a small number of clients at any time. Every engagement is built around the man or woman in front of me — their business, their current structure, their goals. Nothing here is off-the-shelf.
