Business Structures for the Private Wo/Man

Coaching for business owners who want to operate on their own terms — privately, lawfully, and without gatekeepers. Most founders unknowingly build on a foundation that hands their business over to systems they didn't choose. There's a lawful alternative — and most have never been shown it.

The Privatepreneur
"Most solopreneurs spend years building a business they don't fully own — not because they did anything wrong, but because no one taught them the alternative."
  • How your business is structured determines who controls it
  • Most commercial contracts create exposure you don't need
  • Regulatory dependency is built in by default — and can be designed out
  • Those who serve one another privately keep what they earn
— Kyle Henson · The Privatepreneur
The Default Path

You built it.
But do you control it?

When most founders start a business, they follow the default path: file the LLC, open the business account, use template contracts, comply with the licensing regime. It feels responsible. It is what everyone does.

What they don't realize is that every step on that path is an agreement. And most founders make those agreements without understanding what they contain — or what they would look like if they'd been made deliberately, from a position of knowledge.

What you've built matters. Whether it remains fully yours depends on the foundation it's sitting on.

If This Sounds Familiar
  • You started your business using the standard playbook — and never questioned the structure
  • Your contracts are templates that import statutory commercial frameworks you didn't choose
  • A meaningful portion of what you earn flows to institutions and systems you don't support
  • You want to do business directly — on private terms — without institutional middlemen
  • You're ready to understand your real options, and act on them

Operating in the private
isn't a workaround. It's a right.

There is a lawful domain of business operation that exists outside of the public commercial system. It is not a loophole. It is not a fringe idea. It is a body of knowledge that has been kept from most founders — and it is available to you now.

The Work

Three frameworks.
One private operation.

Framework 01
Business Structure

How your business is formed and held determines what systems you are subject to. We examine your current structure and map a path toward one that serves you — outside the public commercial system.

Framework 02
Private Agreements

Commercial contracts written in statutory language import a legal framework into your business relationships you didn't choose. Private agreements govern your dealings on your terms — directly between parties, without institutional intermediaries.

Framework 03
Regulatory Positioning

Most founders comply with regulatory demands they've never analyzed. We identify what genuinely applies to your operation — and what you've been conditioned to accept — and restructure accordingly.

How It Works in Detail →
Permissionless

You don't need approval to conduct your affairs. A private business operates by agreement — not by license, registration, or institutional consent.

Freedom

Financial and operational freedom comes from deliberate structuring — not from compensation alone. What you earn should serve you, not fund systems you didn't choose.

Ownership

True ownership means your business, your agreements, and your assets remain under your authority — not held conditionally by public commercial structures.

The Cost of the Default Path

Every dollar you earn
in public commerce has
a silent partner.

When your business operates in the public commercial system, a portion of every transaction flows into institutions you didn't choose — funding agendas you may not support, underwriting systems built for control, not service.

The private entrepreneur doesn't opt out of commerce. They opt out of being an unwilling participant in systems that take without consent. Private agreements mean you and your clients exchange value directly — on agreed terms, without a third party extracting a share.

This is not a political position. It is a structural one. And it begins with how your business is built.

100%
Of what you earn — kept by you

When man or woman serves one another through private agreements, what changes is the foundation — not a refusal of any obligation, but a structure where value flows directly between those who created it, without institutional extraction built in by default.

Private Agreements Are the Mechanism

This isn't avoidance of anything. It's a different foundation entirely. When your business is built on private agreements — on agreed terms — the structure itself keeps what you earn in the hands that earned it. That's not a workaround. That's the point.

Who This Is For

Built for founders who are
done asking permission.

This is for the solopreneur, the independent founder, the man or woman who has built something real and wants to make sure it stays theirs — built on a foundation that answers to them alone.

If you operate independently and want to build on a private foundation, this work applies to you.

Let's Be Direct

This is not
a fringe movement.

Operating in the private has nothing to do with sovereign citizen ideology, anti-government movements, or any claim that you exist outside the law. Those positions are legally incoherent and have nothing to offer anyone who is serious about their business.

What I teach is not found in law school, business school, or conventional consulting. It is a separate body of knowledge — about private structuring, private agreements, and private operation — that has been quietly practiced by those who understood it, and largely kept from those who didn't.

This is not about refusing obligations. It's about understanding which obligations you've actually taken on — and building forward with that knowledge.

What This Work Is — Precisely
  • Lawful private structuring — not a claim of legal exemption
  • Private agreements that are enforceable and honorable — not a rejection of agreement itself
  • Reducing unnecessary institutional entanglement through informed choices — not refusing to operate
  • Knowledge that exists outside the mainstream professional world — because it was never part of it
  • Building a business that answers to you — lawfully, deliberately, and completely
"A private life isn't a hidden life.
It's a life — and a business — you actually own."

My Story

I learned this
the hard way.

I spent years building a business through the default commercial path — standard structures, template contracts, assumed compliance. It worked. But at some point, I started looking closely at what I'd actually agreed to — and what it was costing me in authority, privacy, and real ownership.

The work of restructuring my own affairs, and the formal training I pursued to do it properly, became the foundation of The Privatepreneur. I now coach solopreneurs and founders through the same process, 1-on-1.

About Me
I built my business the standard way.
Then I read what I'd actually agreed to.
I'm a 1-on-1 coach helping solopreneurs and early-stage founders structure and operate their businesses lawfully in the private — permissionlessly, with full ownership, and on their own terms. I also coach on the team at Private Life, Greg Saunders' private living platform.
The Story

How I got here

When I started my first business, I did what everyone does. Filed the paperwork. Used the templates. Checked the boxes and kept moving. I was building something real, and I was focused on the work — not on the foundation underneath it.

At some point that changed. I started asking a question I hadn't thought to ask before: what did I actually agree to? Not in any extreme sense — just honestly. What does it mean to be a registered commercial entity? What are the terms of these contracts, and who benefits from the language they're written in? What am I participating in, and did I choose it — or was it simply the default?

"The default path wasn't designed for you. It was designed for the benefit of the systems you were entering."

The answers reshaped how I saw my own business. I had made agreements I didn't understand. I had built on a foundation that — without my knowledge or deliberate consent — made me a participant in systems I wouldn't have chosen. Not because I did anything wrong. Because no one taught me the alternative existed.

I pursued formal training through Greg Saunders' Private Life program — a rigorous private education that eventually led me to join the Private Life coaching team — and spent real time restructuring my own affairs — my business structure, my agreements, my operational foundation. The clarity that came from that work is difficult to describe until you've experienced it yourself. It's the difference between a business you run and a business you own.

I don't just teach this — I live it. I am the founder of Fyreside Club, a members-only club for private agreement recreational land use. Fyreside is itself built on the same private frameworks I coach: membership by private agreement, no public commercial structure, no institutional intermediaries. It is proof of concept — a real, operating business built entirely in the private.

The Privatepreneur exists to make that knowledge available to any founder who is ready for it. Not through ideology. Not through fear. Through direct, practical, 1-on-1 coaching tailored to your specific business and situation.

I work with a small number of clients at any time. Every engagement is built around the man or woman in front of me — their business, their current structure, their goals. Nothing here is off-the-shelf.

How I Work

Three principles

01
Practical over ideological

This is about your business — its structure, its agreements, its foundation. Every session moves toward a concrete outcome. The frameworks exist to serve your situation, not the other way around.

02
Honest over comfortable

I'll tell you clearly what I see when I look at your setup — including what you may not want to hear. The clients who get the most from this work want accurate information more than they want reassurance.

03
Private, always

I work with a small number of clients. What we discuss stays between us. I take confidentiality seriously, which means you can too.

A note on Private Life

I'm part of the ecosystem I recommend.

My coaching focuses on your business — structures, agreements, and how to operate in the private. But the private life can extend much further than business alone.

For those who want to go deeper into Relating, Wealth, Property, Ventures, Legacy, and much more, I point people to Private Life — Greg Saunders' platform and the program I trained through. Greg has built a comprehensive ecosystem for private living with 7,000+ graduates, and I now coach on his team. This isn't an outside referral — it's the same world.

If you come to Private Life for coaching, there's a good chance you'll end up working with me there too. The work here at The Privatepreneur is simply a more direct, business-focused path to the same destination.

If this resonates,
the next step is a conversation.

What Coaching Covers

The three frameworks behind every session

Every coaching session is built around these three areas. Where we focus depends on your specific situation and where you are in the transition.

Framework 01
Business Structure

Your structure is the legal and operational foundation everything else sits on. Most founders default to a state-registered commercial entity without understanding what that structure makes them subject to. We audit what you have and identify your real options.

  • Understanding what your current business structure commits you to
  • Evaluating private structuring alternatives appropriate to your operation
  • Mapping the gap between where you are and where you want to be
  • Building a structure that operates on your terms — not the public commercial system's
Framework 02
Private Agreements

Most of the contracts founders use are written in statutory commercial language. That language imports a framework into your business relationships that benefits the system — not you. Private agreements are written differently, governed differently, and create a different relationship between the parties.

  • Reviewing your existing contracts for statutory exposure
  • Understanding the distinction between public commercial and private agreements
  • Drafting client, contractor, and partner agreements in the private
  • Building a template foundation for your ongoing operations
Framework 03
Regulatory Positioning

Regulatory compliance is typically assumed, not analyzed. Most solopreneurs comply with licensing, registration, and reporting requirements not because they've determined those requirements apply to their operation — but because they've never been presented with any alternative framework for thinking about it. This framework is about getting precise: what genuinely applies to you, what you've taken on by assumption, and how to build forward from that clarity.

  • Auditing your current compliance against your actual business activity
  • Identifying what you comply with by habit vs. by obligation
  • Understanding the distinction between public and private commercial activity
  • Restructuring operations to reduce unnecessary regulatory surface area

1-on-1 Coaching

A Note on What This Is

Lawful, deliberate, and quietly practical.

This work isn't about opting out, opting against, or making a statement. It's simply a different — and entirely lawful — way of structuring and operating a business, grounded in private agreement rather than public commercial assumption.

It exists outside the conventional professional world because conventional professionals were never trained in it. Nothing more dramatic than that. The aim is clarity: understanding the structures and agreements available to you, and choosing them deliberately.

Fit Matters

Who this is — and isn't — for

This is for you if
  • You're a solopreneur or early-stage founder building independently
  • You want to understand and control the legal foundation of your business
  • You're ready to audit what you've built and make real structural changes
  • You want to operate permissionlessly — no gatekeepers, no institutional consent required
  • You want true ownership: unconditional, not held at the pleasure of a public system
  • You want to serve your clients directly through private agreements — keeping what you earn
  • You want to understand the private foundation yourself — whether through self-study alone or with 1-on-1 coaching support alongside it
This is not for you if
  • You want a done-for-you service or a quick fix
  • You want someone to validate decisions you've already made
  • You need emergency legal or financial crisis intervention
  • You believe fringe legal theories or refuse obligations without analysis
  • You're not prepared to act on what you learn
  • You're comfortable with your current level of exposure and dependency
Permissionless

Build and operate without seeking approval from institutions that don't serve you.

Freedom

The freedom to keep what you earn and direct it toward the men, women, and purposes you choose.

Ownership

Not held conditionally. Not subject to revocation. Yours — fully and without caveat.
